Use my strong women bookmarks for Women’s History Month? You bet!
Yesterday I got an email from a woman in Georgia. She wrote that she signed up for the newsletter on my website and didn’t get the free strong women bookmarks.

Sometimes the software doesn’t work as it should. As soon as I got her email, I emailed her in return. To my delight, she’s a librarian at a middle school. She wants to use the bookmarks for Women’s History Month, which comes up in March.
I asked her how she found me, and she said that she searched under women’s bookmarks. Wow, that’s great!
I once was a teacher, and before I could get a teaching job, I was a substitute librarian. Trying to capture the attention of students in the media center can be difficult.
So I admire people who work in the schools. It’s never-ending job, and frankly, for all the hours they spend, the pay’s not all that great.
Sometimes writing too is a hard slog. There’s lots of times your inner critic is beating you up and you wonder, “Wouldn’t it just be easier to sell used cars?”
And then days like yesterday happen. When someone else says, “I’m going to use your strong women bookmarks to educate middle schoolers.”
It doesn’t get much better than that.
